Compact and always ready for on-the-go, Swim & Sport Mineral Sunscreen SPF50 for face and any area of the body that needs extra protection. A powerful sunscreen balm made with natural bentonite clay and designed to withstand physical activity from the ocean to the mountains, or wherever your active lifestyle takes you. Water-resistant (80 minutes) and formulated with 19 plant-based ingredients and natural origin zinc oxide, our Balm can be applied liberally as a visible layer of protection or rubbed in to reduce whitening effect. Made with jojoba and sustainably sourced passion fruit oil to nourish and prevent moisture loss while protecting from the sun’s harmful UVA and UVB rays. Fragrance free and suitable for all ages.

Usage

Suitable for all ages. Under 6 months: ask your doctor.
For the face or any high point or sensitive area of the face and the body that needs extra protection.
Apply 15 minutes before sun exposure.
Reapply after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating, at least every 2 hours.
Balm can be rubbed in fully for a sheer layer of protection, or layered on and rubbed in minimally to create a visible protective barrier as needed.

CAUTION: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. When using a product for the first time, it is recommended to test it on a small area and monitor for skin reaction during 24 hours before applying to a larger area. If irritation occurs, stop use and contact your physician. Keep out of reach of children.

By partnering with juice makers, the farmers salvage the unused seeds which are otherwise discarded and cold-press them into a nutritious vitamin-rich oil. This sustainable practice helps to promote a circular economy and provides an additional source of income for the farmers who grow and harvest Passion Fruit.

Should I use this Balm all over my body?

Our Swim & Sport SPF balm is intended for the face and high points of your body that may need extra coverage during outdoor activities. We recommend pairing it with our Swim & Sport SPF30 Spray for body coverage that will still provide water-resistance in a format that is easier to spread on larger areas of the body.

Is this sunscreen reef-safe?

Our sunscreens are compliant with Hawaii’s and other regional regulations on coral reef and marine environment. They do not contain the chemical ingredients banned in those areas like Oxybenzone or Octinoxate. However, “Reef-Safe” is an unregulated statement. While our products technically “qualify”, you can learn more on here about why we have decided to no longer make this statement.

Is this sunscreen non-nano?

Our sunscreens are non-nano by the definition of the European regulation (EC) No 1223/2009. However “Non-Nano” is an unregulated statement in the Unites States, which is why we have decided to no longer make this statement. Our sunscreens are independently tested for effectiveness and safety under dermatological and pediatric supervision. They are suitable for all ages, from babies to adults.
